10/10/2020 was by far the most popular date of the year for weddings. I got over 20 inquires for that date. So much anticipation for the biggest day of the year and I'm so happy it didn't disappoint! If you're in Maryland you know that we had the most gorgeous fall day we could ask for. There was enough warmth still in the air to not need a jacket but enough chill in the breeze to make it feel like autumn. And what every couple planning a fall wedding wants: color!! As I drove out to western Maryland I was so excited to photograph the most gorgeous foliage all around. Yellows, oranges and reds took the spotlight on 10/10, which made the perfect backdrop for Erica and Dave's outdoor celebration.
These two were originally planning a big party (and I have no doubt it would have been a rager!), but like many other weddings this year Covid had other plans. Despite having to switch to having the majority of their guests watch over Zoom, it was still filled with so much fun and most importantly, so much love! I teared up as they read their own vows to each other and when their family and friends shared beautiful sentiments for the happy couple. Despite all that's happening in the world, 10/10/2020 didn't disappoint and it's days like this one that make me so thankful that I have one of the best jobs in the world. Now grab a cup of something hot, cuddle up with a blanket, light that pumpkin spice candle and enjoy this gorgeous autumn wedding!
